SCAM ALERT! people are getting a call from a supposably AEP employee indicating that his bill was overdue and someone was enroute to disconnect the service. The caller indicated that credit card payment was not acceptable and that payment must be made by phone app (Zelle) or a pre-paid credit card. This call was subsequently confirmed to be an imposter attempting to scam AEP customers. Please be weary.!
